Return to the States
Well, its been about a week since I got back from Portugal. Quite a beautiful and interesting place, and I wouldn’t mind going back if my wife was with me (and if I didn’t have to work). Since I was running 2 HD cameras for most of the trip, I wasn’t able to take many pictures. In fact, the only camera I had was the 2 megapickle camera on my Treo. The wedding that we covered was at the Penha Longa resort which is near Cas Cais and Sintra. There was an abundance of ancient architecture there, including sections of a Roman aqueduct. The Penha Longa has an old monastary on-site whose construction started in the 1300’s. It was an amazing mixture of styles from Renaissance through Baroque…
And yes, I did say 2 megapickle. I heard a Canon rep say “megapickles” instead of “megapixels” at a seminar, and now I just can’t bring myself to say megapixel anymore.
